Our motivation

The Goal

Our goal is to connect you directly to the coffee plantation and its community without intermediaries. In doing so, we are honest and transparent about the process.The idea is that by sharing our experience and knowledge about Single Origin 100% Arabica coffee, everyone can enjoy their next cup of coffee knowing the positive impact it creates on other families.

The story


Some would say that the process and brewing of specialty coffee is a form of art. The story of our coffee spans three generations of strong, independent and ambitious women. Chiara Casagrande, 104 years old, became known for connecting coffee producers directly with consumers. Andréa Vivacqua is resilient, determined, and responsible for sharing the love of the craft with her team. Camila Vivacqua is sharp, innovative and the visionary behind the brand, inspired by her grandmother. Hence the name of the coffee: Chiara Specialty Coffee, representing three generations who understand the art of coffee.


A family business with the purpose of improving the lives of the producers. While engaged in a niched market for the high-end specialty coffee segment. 


For over 25 years, we have been producing the highest grade of coffee. Amid the misty peaks from the mountains in Espírito Santo Brazil lies our coffee plantation at the Fazenda Marapé. Located in the municipality of Brejuta, the heart of Brazilian Arabica, where the ideal climate creates a rich symphony of flavours in our single origin 100% Arabica Coffee beans. 



Capixaba Coffee 


If you are born in the state of Espírito Santo, you are Capixaba. Espírito Santo is Brazil's 2nd largest specialty coffee producer. Coffee farming is the main agricultural activity in Espírito Santo. The Arabica Coffee beans are most cultivated in regions with lower temperatures, at altitudes from 1000 meters above sea level. 


After the success of our brand in Brazil, we are now expanding globally. In recent years we have focused on connecting our customers directly to the source of our coffee.

Besides Fazenda Marapé in Brazil, today we have the headquarters in the Netherlands. Where we distribute Chiara Specialty Coffee to the European & Scandinavian market. While also working to expand our offices to Dubai and Tokyo. We have patience, we persist without exception, we continue despite the challenges. With faith in our families, communities, products and business partners, we strive to offer you more than coffee, but an experience.

When selecting green specialty coffee for roasting, various processes are used to choose the best beans.

Origin: The country and region determine the flavor profiles.

Processing method: Wet or dry processing yields different flavors.

Density: Heavier beans are often of higher quality.

Flavor profile: Experts taste the green beans to assess the potential flavor.

Defects: Impurities and damages are removed.


Through these selection processes it is ensured that only the best green specialty coffee beans reach the roastery, resulting in a delightful cup of coffee.
